To delete your Haibo! account and associated data:

1. Open the Haibo! app
2. Tap the menu icon (top-left)
3. Tap Settings
4. Scroll to “Delete account” and tap it
5. Confirm when prompted

What happens when you delete
– Your profile, phone number, and display name are removed immediately
– Your posts, reels, comments, ratings, and route contributions are
anonymised (content stays but your username is replaced with “Deleted user”)
– Your emergency contact list and saved locations are deleted
– Transaction records (payments, SOS events) are retained for 7 years
as required by South African financial and safety-incident regulations

Can’t access the app?
Email support@haibo.africa with your registered phone number and we’ll
process the deletion within 30 days.
